"I wanted to take an opportunity to write about the services I received from Sheffield Plumbing. We had MAJOR sewer line issues back in January of 2026. We first contracted Chris to handle the issues when a much larger issue was detected. We had a tree whose roots managed to penetrate our drain lines and also damage the connection from our sewer line to the city main sewer lines. You would think no biggie at this point, but since our entire driveway would effectively need to be ripped up to perform these repairs, we decided we would do pavers once the plumbing repairs were done, and that's where the headaches began. The City of Atlantic Beach is very thorough and meticulous when it comes to permitting. While we first tried to tackle it ourselves, Chris would frequently and patiently visit the property to ensure that the drain lines remained clear so our home would have no backups while sorting out out permit issues, sometimes without even asking him. MONTHS later, we would finally get our permits cleared for the complete renovation. Our demolition happened on a Monday. He would be on the property late Monday afternoon, and the next day, he started work. He finished the entire job (plumbing sewer lines of 2 adjacent units) to the city sewer line, finishing 1 day ahead of schedule AND limiting the downtime for plumbing to about 6 hours. Chris has always been a pleasure to deal with. A well spoken individual on the phone, quick to respond to calls and texts, and even quicker if an emergency. I won't say he is the cheapest, because let's face it, for a project like this, you want no corners cut. The job has to be done the right way the first time because pavers are going down over his work. But I strongly feel I paid a fair price for his professionalism. The quality of work he promised was the quality of work he delivered. Whether for a major project or a simple sink clog, I cannot recommend Sheffield Plumbing enough!! Thank you Chris and team!!"
